Hi Everybody,

I hope you are busy this holiday week working on your cars to get them ready to be entered and registered on Friday night, January 15th from 6p to 8p.  To get ready, here are some helpful tips:

1)  PARENTS WE NEED VOLUNTEERS - JUST A LITTLE TIME GOES A LONG WAY!!

     o   AUTO BODY SHOP (Power Tools, Hand Tools, Sanders, Sand Paper)

     o   PIT CREW & REGISTRATION

     o   TRACK SET UP & TEAR DOWN

     o   TIMING & ELECTONICS  (NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY EXCEPT CPLUS PROGRAM ENGINEERING - JUST KIDDING)

     o   PROJECT HELP

 2)  STOP BY OUR AUTO BODY SHOP FOR MAJOR WORK AND MINOR TWEAKING (NO PAINTING)

     o   POWER TOOLS MANAGED BY ADULTS

     o  VETERAN TIPS FROM OLDER SCOUTS

3)   REGISTRATION IS MANDATORY FRIDAY JANUARY 15 6P TO 8P

4)   DERBY BEGINS AT 9:00 SATURDAY JANUARY 16

     o  WE WILL START WITH OLDER DENS TO NOT CONFLICT WITH BASEBALL TRYOUTS

5)   HAVE FUN !!!!!

It’s for raising money for Cub Scout Camp.  Here’s how it works.

Contact me and let me know you want to participate.  Please email me at heatherduda@yahoo.com or sign up on the Sub Sale Sheets on your way IN to your den meeting tomorrow night.  I will have the packets ready to go by the time your den meeting is done.  If you have a go-see-it, email me and I will get the packets to your den leader before scouts tomorrow night.  Please include your son’s name and den leader, your name and the best way I can contact you (if emailing me).  I will be there Wednesday night also for those who still meet on that day. 

Roma Pizza subs sell for $6.10 (including tax)

Your scout sells the coupon for $6.oo. 

The scout makes $3.oo from each coupon (50%).

Each packet has 10 coupons to start.  We can sell coupons up until Tuesday, January 5^th.   Money and unsold coupons MUST be returned on this night.  We need to pay Roma their money before they will accept the coupons.  The coupons are numbered for tracking purposes.  You will be responsible for turning in money and any unsold coupons. 

I will be available at the December Pack meeting for those who want more coupons / to turn in money before the Holiday / to turn in the money they collected so far and want more coupons.

Remember Scout Safety Rules: Always go with a grown up.  Never go into houses.

·        You don’t have to go back and deliver items after they’ve been ordered.

·        You collect the money and they can use the coupon when it’s convenient.

·        The coupons aren’t heavy and they can fit in your dad’s wallet.

·        Your mom and dad don’t have to bring an SUV full of boxes to work with them.
