All:
Numbers for the camping trip on Saturday are low, but the trip is still a ‘go’. IT looks to be a beautiful weekend and we are committed to sprucing up our adopted camp site.
I know it is opening day for baseball and there are other events on Sunday… If you would like to come up for just the day that is OK.
Our schedule for the day is simple: camp site spruce-up, lunch, field games/hiking, foil pack dinner over the fire. Cost if you’re not staying over is $8.00 per person. Overnight cost is still $10.00 per person.
if your schedule has recently changed or I don’t have you on the list please get back to me no later than tonight via email or cell (475-7555).
Here’s the list of boys I have down to attend:
- Tom A.
- RJ C. (day only)
- Dayvid H.
- Dylan H.
- Anthony J. (day only)
- Dakota J.-Ortiz (day only)
- Carter N.
- Daniel Q.
Thanks,
Mike Newman, Cubmaster

If you didn’t participate in last year’s GeoScouting activity…. GeoScouting is a fun, family-oriented scavenger hunt that uses GPS technology to locate activity stations. The activity is loosely based on GeoCaching. At each ‘Cache’ you’ll find a container that has an activity card. Compelte the steps outlined on the card and then find the next cache. The main intent is to have fun, of course it’s best to be the first team to complete the course as well!
The pack will provide GPS units for the activity, but if your family has a GPS please bring it along
To participate you’ll need study sneakers or hiking boots, we’ll be in the woods. You also should bring a small backpack or shoulder bag for your family that has a trail snack and drink. Dress for the weather.
If you den is scheduled to meet tonight (1/27) the meeting will proceed as planned.
